I mostly went with names that I liked, and popularity wasn't a big concern.

• I feel all your pains, I'm a Raychel, in grades 5,6, and 7 there were 4 other Rachel's in the class, I was the only one with a Y so my teachers called me raychel with a y.

• Kaybee, I had twin friends their names were Carlotta Lynne and Charlotta Anne, we called them Lynnie and Annie, they HATED their first names with a passion.

• My oldest daughter's name is Kamala (pronounced comma-la) first thing people ask, "is she black?" for the record she's not, I named her after my best friend who was killed in an accident years before she was born.

• Hey now I have a Y in my name and I'm definitely not nor ever have been a stripper lol I was actually supposed to be a "boy" so my name was going to be Raymond after my Great-Grandfather, I came out a girl so my parent's changed it to Raychel.
